This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for CircleMate subscriptions. We comply with EU consumer protection laws and Slovenian consumer protection law (ZVPot-1) and offer a fair, transparent refund process.
1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
In compliance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1), you have the right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 14 days of your initial purchase, without giving any reason, and receive a full refund.
This right of withdrawal applies to:
- Pro 6 Months plan (€9.99)
- Pro Yearly plan (€14.99)
Note: By starting to use the paid features (e.g., uploading files using your Pro plan), you acknowledge that the digital service is provided immediately, and you may lose your right of withdrawal for content already consumed, in accordance with applicable law.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase:

Please include:
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- Order/transaction ID (if available)
- Reason for refund (optional but helpful)
We will process your refund within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
3. Refunds After 14 Days
After the 14-day window, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We may issue partial or full refunds for:
- Technical issues that prevent you from using the Service
- Accidental duplicate charges
- Service disruptions on our end

4. Subscription Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings:
- Log in to circlemate.me
- Go to Account → Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
After cancellation:
- You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- No refund is issued for the unused portion (unless within the 14-day withdrawal period)
5. Auto-Renewal
Pro subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. We send a reminder email 7 days before each renewal. Cancel before that date to avoid charges.
6. Free Plan
The Free plan does not require payment, so refunds do not apply.
7. Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails:
- We will notify you via email
- Your Pro features are paused until payment succeeds
- After 14 days of failed payment, your account is downgraded to Free
8. Disputes and Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at hello@circlemate.me. Most issues can be resolved within 1-2 business days.
